Please do not send clothing at this time. We do not currently have need of clothing. We will at this time, however accept pillows, blankets, socks, shoes, new (preferably still in sealed packages) underwear and undergarments and all baby and toddler supplies. Check back in about a week on anything other than that.
What we do need: Water, canned goods, baby food and formula, ice (upon demand, please call first if you have access), snack foods (that do not have to be cooked), and the like.
A HUGE need we have currently is DAILY CONSUMABLES. Things that are used up on a daily basis like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine products, batteries, diapers, toilet paper, paper plates, plastic eating utensils, plastic and styrofoam cups, paper towels, etc.
Also, if anyone would like to donate medication, we will ONLY accept over-the-counter, unopened, untampered-with and unused medications. At this time, we WILL NOT accept prescription medications. ALL bottles, boxes and tubes we receive that are opened, tampered-with or used WILL BE THROWN AWAY.
Can cooked food for a hot lunch be taken to Hackleburg or should we take it somewhere else?

Do you have a need for a licensed counselor this weekend? I am coming from the Memphis area with a friend that is a counselor at an elementary school in Tullahoma, TN. We are looking for a way to utilize her skills in whatever way is best needed….
